Susan Payne joined DTN in August 2022 as DTN Social Media and Young Farmer Editor. She’s a 2016 graduate of the University of Nebraska at Omaha where she earned a bachelor’s degree in media communication. She started her career as a journalist for News Link in 2016, and then The Daily Nonpareil in 2018. Prior to joining DTN, she specialized in public relations for the Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska and for several freelance clients. She held several roles with the Daily Nonpareil newsroom, including business journalist, weekend editor, paginator and digital editor. She lives in Omaha, Nebraska.
