Dan Davidson

DTN Contributing Agronomist
Dan Davidson

Daniel Davidson is a contributing agronomist. Davidson writes on agronomy and crop production for growers across the Corn Belt and dispenses timely advice on production practices and decisions in DTN's production blog. He specializes in clarifying scientifically complex issues so average farmers can understand them.

Davidson got his bachelor's, master's and doctorate degrees in agronomy, from the University of Nebraska, the University of Missouri and Washington State University, respectively. He has worked as an agronomist for 20 years, including two years in Mexico and nine in Africa training agronomists. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge on crops and soils to DTN and its subscribers.

Besides working as an agronomist, Davidson gets his boots dirty and hands greasy helping operate the family corn and soybean farm in northeast Nebraska, near Norfolk.
