Mike Fontaine

Mike Fontaine is an agricultural meteorologist in DTN's Woburn, Mass., office, with a prominent role in computer operations.

Mike is a leading forecaster for Reuters and Dow Jones clients and provides critical daily crop weather forecasts for the agricultural interests of the clients. Mike has developed, and made operational, high grade agricultural model forecast maps for MET OPS in both the Minneapolis and Woburn offices. Mike has been with DTN since 1999 (then Weather Services Corp.) and attended the University of Massachusetts.

Mike previously worked for Pembrook Management as a security manager before his career change into the weather business. Some of Mike?s interests include baseball, hockey and astronomy.
