Darren Miller
Darren Miller fulfilled undergraduate meteorology coursework at St. Cloud State University and completed a Master of Science degree at Iowa State University in agricultural meteorology. Darren began transitioning from senior industry meteorologist in 2020 to agriculture data scientist presently. Before this transition, Darren forecast 18 seasons of winter road weather. Because the forecasting load was lighter during the summers, Darren collected observations from farm fields for use in modeling development and verification. Field research remains an emphasis in Darren's role with DTN.
