DTN Weekly DDG Price Pushes Higher on Average
MINNEAPOLIS (DTN) -- The DTN average price for domestic distillers dried grains (DDG) from 35 locations reporting for the week ended Dec. 15 was $254 per ton, up $13 on average from one week ago.
DDG prices have turned higher on average as demand remains strong and soymeal prices have moved higher. Heading into the last two weeks of the year, we may see some plants slow down as cold weather sets in and due to margins turning lower. The higher cash corn price can also be added to the mix. The DTN National Corn Index is up 21 cents versus one week ago.
