Spot ethanol prices eased in Chicago area after the recent rally while New York Harbor and West Coast values were discussed higher on talk of a tight squeeze in regional markets. Today delivered ethanol at Argo near Chicago traded at $2.11 gallon, down 3 cents. Prompt barge at the New York Harbor was talked wide at a $2.20 to $2.55 gallon bid/ask spread, with no trade reported, up 12.5 cents. Product delivered this week to northern California was talked at $2.20 gallon, up 4.0 cents on the day.
