Spot ethanol prices moved lower in Chicago and in the New York Harbor in discussion early Tuesday, with no trades reported. Sources said prompt delivered ethanol at the Argo terminal in the Chicago market was pegged at $1.6475 per gallon for a loss of 2.75 cents.

In the rail market, this week delivered ethanol traded under Rule 11 was offered at $1.61 per gallon, down 4.5 cents. January ethanol barges in the New York Harbor were valued at $1.69 per gallon for a loss of 0.75 cents.
