Cash Ethanol Trades Flat to Lower on Building Supplies

Spot ethanol prices were flat to lower in a thinly traded session early Thursday after the Energy Information Administration reported domestic ethanol stockpiles rose to the highest level on record last week as plants ramped up production.

Any February ethanol at Argo supply hub near Chicago traded at $1.37 and $1.3725 per gallon, flat on the day. New York Harbor February barged ethanol was pegged at $1.41 per gallon while March barges were pegged at $1.45 per gallon. Arizona ethanol traded at $1.53 per gallon.
