Argo, NYH Ethanol Prices Lifted by Improving Demand

Spot ethanol prices advanced Thursday afternoon on talk of improving demand and tightening supply in key regional trade hubs, with higher gasoline futures also providing support.
Today delivered ethanol at Argo hub near Chicago was talked at a $1.555 to $1.575 per gallon bid/ask, up 1.75 cents. New York Harbor October barges were pegged 1.0 cents up at $1.67 to $1.70 per gallon while Harbor November barges traded up 1.5 cents at $1.66 per gallon.
