Spot Ethanol Prices Climb on Expected Production Decline
Spot ethanol prices traded higher Tuesday, extending gains partly on the back of a forecast that U.S. ethanol production for the week-ended Jan. 18 decreased.
"Reduced production from last week's EIA report," said one broker in explaining the advance. "The market is strong overall," added another broker.
