Political Ads Force Trip to Kenya
The political advertising has just run me out of the country. In fact, I'm so fed up I'm trying to get as far away from it as possible. The only problem was the cheapest flight I could get was to Kenya.
I made a deal that if I could find President Obama's wet nurse in Kenya and have the story for Hannity by Monday night that I'll get my own show on FOX.
In all seriousness, I am heading to Nairobi, Kenya, as part of an agricultural development tour set up by the International Federation of Agricultural Journalists. This is the year of the cooperative so I'm sure the tour will place a heavy emphasis on that. About 15 journalists from around the world are going on the trip.

The date wasn't my choosing but it does have some benefits:
1) I don't have to watch any more commercials.
2) I won't have to watch the Chiefs play tonight.
A few other people on the staff will be picking up slack over the next 10 days on the blog, the elections, the post-election, the 'Are-we-going-to-get-a-farm-bill' coverage and everything else in between.
I may get the chance to drop in some blogs or comments while I'm gone, depending on quality of my internet access while in Kenya.
Otherwise, I'll catch you on the flip side.
