USDA Hub City Livestock Wtd Averages 11/12 17:10 AMS_2020 MARS Hub City Livestock Auction - Aberdeen, SD Hub City Livestock Auction-Aberdeen,SD Livestock Weighted Average Report for 11/12/2025 - Final Auction This Week Last Reported Last Year ------------------------------------------------------------ Total Receipts: ------------------------------------------------------------ FEEDER CATTLE 4596 3011 5643 Compared to last week: yearlings not well compared. Best test on steer calves 500 to 649 lbs 8.00 to 10.00 higher, 650 to 699 lbs mostly steady. Best test on heifers 500 to 599 lbs steady to 3.00 higher. Good to very good demand for yearlings today. Still a few yearlings coming off grass, including today's feature string of 500 steers. The market is very active on these light to moderate fleshed cattle as supplies are almost at an end. Dry lot yearlings also see good demand as many would rather feed these than a bawling calf. Good demand for calves today. Most coming off the cow but a few weaned packages, weaned from 14 days and over. Varied flesh condition on calves, but mostly light to moderate plus. A few more creep fed calves this week. Many attractive calves to choose from, both in loads and packages to be put together. An active market with more optimism than seen last week even though the futures complex had a negative day. Weather remains very nice for this time of year, really nice conditions for cattle with quite a few cows still out on grass or grazing stalks. Next feeder cattle sale is Wednesday, November 19. This will be the last feeder cattle sale before Thanksgiving. --------------------------------------------------------------- FEEDER CATTLE --------------------------------------------------------------- HEIFERS - Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 102 1026-1030 1028 277-279.5 278.25 10 1091-1091 1091 271-271 271 HEIFERS - Medium and Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 14 328-344 337 420-445 430.42 52 369-397 378 455-496 476.91 63 429-448 444 447.5-460 448.46 97 453-490 469 395-435 421.12 73 505-530 513 427.5-440 436.98 Replacement 213 506-548 531 372.5-400 385.23 229 550-590 560 350-386.5 378.12 82 570-570 570 415-415 415 Replacement 113 601-636 630 342.5-365 361.8 54 665-685 677 334-336 334.76 41 758-793 785 301-325 306.41 31 837-837 837 282-282 282 463 905-924 906 291-300 291.36 108 963-985 976 282-297.5 283.13 STEERS - Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 104 1008-1021 1015 345.75-345.75 345.75 STEERS - Medium and Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 37 368-396 383 500-527.5 509.77 17 402-405 404 522.5-527.5 524.26 110 453-495 473 460-502.5 481.81 206 501-535 515 445-485 476.65 13 537-537 537 432.5-432.5 432.5 Fleshy 444 572-597 585 415-441.5 435.12 537 601-638 617 415-443 425.28 56 637-643 642 378-394 391.16 Fleshy 285 664-698 688 390-397 394.83 185 706-747 725 375.5-390.75 382.22 21 766-777 773 341-344 343.01 148 876-898 887 334-357.5 348.7 199 918-935 925 353.5-353.5 353.5 600 959-989 975 346.25-357.25 354.04 STEERS - Medium and Large 1-2 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 4 491-491 491 405-405 405 22 554-599 589 387.5-407.5 391.78 19 670-670 670 347-347 347 10 829-829 829 326-326 326
