USDA Mobridge, SD Fdr Cattle Wtd Avg Report

USDA Mobridge, SD Fdr Cattle Wtd Avg Report 11/20 15:00 AMS_2025 MARS Mobridge Livestock Exchange (Thursday) - Mobridge, SD Mobridge Livestock Exchange-Mobridge,SD Livestock Weighted Average Report for 11/20/2025 - Final Auction This Week Last Reported Last Year ------------------------------------------------------------ Total Receipts: ------------------------------------------------------------ FEEDER CATTLE 1959 4346 3564 Compared to last week: best test on steers 550 to 649 lbs 25.00 to 30.00 lower on a narrow comparison. Best test on heifers 500 to 549 lbs 16.00 lower. Moderate to good demand for calves today. A totally different offering of calves than seen last week as far as quality. Many plain quality calves in the offering today and also many colored hides, all selling in packages, making it a challenge to put a load of uniform calves together. All calves off the cow and many had full preconditioning. Flesh varied also, from light to moderate plus. A moderate market with a few less buyers and farmer feeders in the seats than last week. Losses on both live and feeder cattle futures again today. This volatility over the last couple weeks has eroded all prior confidence buyers and feeders had coming into this fall marketing season leaving nothing but uncertainty in how to proceed going forward. No feeder cattle next week due to Thanksgiving, a nice line up of bred cattle on Tuesday, November 25, along with the annual pie auction, next feeder cattle sale is Thursday, December 4. --------------------------------------------------------------- FEEDER CATTLE --------------------------------------------------------------- HEIFERS - Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 18 1006-1006 1006 300-300 300 35 1060-1080 1077 279-280 279.14 HEIFERS - Medium and Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 5 298-298 298 510-510 510 28 350-392 376 450-490 462.65 48 438-448 444 435-457.5 445.05 54 452-472 469 400-428 417.58 219 500-542 525 376-407.5 397.09 28 555-575 567 330-350 339.86 182 600-618 609 341-372 360.75 13 661-661 661 315-315 315 HEIFERS - Medium and Large 1-2 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 18 367-399 376 420-420 420 10 440-440 440 392.5-392.5 392.5 38 458-483 467 372.5-377.5 374.24 9 496-497 497 320-325 322.22 Fleshy 67 520-548 539 332.5-367.5 350.27 7 581-581 581 322.5-322.5 322.5 STEERS - Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 23 1072-1072 1072 265-265 265 18 592-592 592 382.5-382.5 382.5 6 603-603 603 340-340 340 STEERS - Medium and Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 25 361-380 373 565-585 571.97 45 407-445 437 477.5-500 488.48 37 491-493 492 470-485 474.85 82 501-546 516 432.5-477.5 460.09 15 524-524 524 427.5-427.5 427.5 Fleshy 167 560-598 573 400-430 418.53 247 604-648 631 381-408 396.06 5 654-654 654 387.5-387.5 387.5 47 702-703 703 352.5-352.5 352.5 STEERS - Medium and Large 1-2 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 9 377-377 377 540-540 540 7 475-475 475 420-420 420 77 513-540 525 388-410 398.4 43 612-619 613 372.5-375 372.73
