USDA Hub City Livestock Wtd Averages 11/19 16:55 AMS_2020 MARS Hub City Livestock Auction - Aberdeen, SD Hub City Livestock Auction-Aberdeen,SD Livestock Weighted Average Report for 11/19/2025 - Final Auction This Week Last Reported Last Year ------------------------------------------------------------ Total Receipts: ------------------------------------------------------------ FEEDER CATTLE 4605 4596 4152 Compared to last week: yearling cattle not well compared. Steer calves 450 to 549 lbs 10.00 to 20.00 lower, 550 to 699 lbs mostly steady with instances up to 8.00 higher except for 600 to 649 lbs not well compared. Heifer calves 450 to 499 lbs 10.00 to 12.00 lower and 550 to 599 lbs 10.00 to 12.00 higher on a narrow comparison with other weight classes of heifer calves not well compared. Good to very good demand for yearlings with best demand seen for a string of spayed heifers still coming off grass in light flesh. Flesh on yearlings coming out of yards moderate to heavy with buyers bidding accordingly. Mostly good demand for calves with load lots seeing the best demand. Most calves off the cow and most had at least a full round of shots in the fall. Flesh varied, from light to some heavy flesh at times. Quality similar to last week with many attractive calves to choose from. An active market on yearlings, moderate to active on calves. There has been too much instability in the futures complex again this week and buyers remain cautious when procuring calves. No feeder cattle next week due to Thanksgiving, next regular feeder cattle sale will be Wednesday, December 3, and special weaned calf sale Saturday, December 6. --------------------------------------------------------------- FEEDER CATTLE --------------------------------------------------------------- HEIFERS - Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 65 1002-1011 1003 290-311 309.37 HEIFERS - Medium and Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 32 314-345 335 505-527.5 523.31 13 357-371 365 445-475 461.44 148 400-435 421 427.5-460 442.09 181 467-493 481 382.5-422 404.92 106 506-506 506 438-438 438 Replacement 64 501-524 518 397.5-417 400.32 134 565-581 572 372-405 387.17 90 586-586 586 417-417 417 Replacement 77 623-634 625 312.5-321 319.43 69 659-686 681 315-333 328.36 73 702-702 702 362-362 362 Replacement 37 709-709 709 343-343 343 70 818-818 818 318-318 318 316 901-947 930 299-311.75 309.85 190 953-995 986 300-311 310.44 HEIFERS - Medium and Large 1-2 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 8 431-431 431 410-410 410 25 493-493 493 369-369 369 37 503-536 513 342.5-345 343.28 46 552-586 568 338-345 341.3 STEERS - Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 335 1002-1049 1026 288-316.75 305.08 18 1040-1040 1040 263-263 263 Fleshy 230 1057-1083 1069 302.25-304.5 303.93 108 1069-1085 1077 271.5-271.5 271.5 Fleshy 24 1155-1155 1155 240-240 240 Fleshy STEERS - Medium and Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 12 311-318 313 575-592.5 586.58 45 358-384 374 485-515 505.92 108 406-439 425 457.5-492.5 484.47 129 460-498 477 428-460 442.76 35 480-480 480 490-490 490 Fancy 274 501-544 519 437.5-465 455.7 337 552-598 577 411-449 436.67 109 618-627 622 403-423 411.33 7 634-634 634 352-352 352 Fleshy 18 659-659 659 362.5-362.5 362.5 Fleshy 192 651-694 668 379-403 397.73 125 742-748 744 370-370.5 370.19 6 767-767 767 320-320 320 86 904-933 925 309-311.75 311 62 950-950 950 324-324 324 25 957-957 957 280-280 280 Fleshy STEERS - Medium and Large 1-2 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 15 415-415 415 435-435 435 55 505-528 521 405-415 410.15 23 562-562 562 397.5-397.5 397.5 10 576-576 576 365-365 365 Fleshy 11 773-773 773 312-312 312 49 901-901 901 288-288 288
