USDA Worthing, SD Fdr Cattle Wtd Avg 12/01 13:10 AMS_2026 MARS Sioux Falls Regional Cattle Auction - Worthing, SD Sioux Falls Regional Livestock-Worthing,SD Livestock Weighted Average Report for 12/01/2025 - Final Auction This Week Last Reported Last Year ------------------------------------------------------------ Total Receipts: ------------------------------------------------------------ FEEDER CATTLE 1581 1931 2981 Compared to last week: Steer and heifer calves sold with much higher undertones compared to last week's very limited test. The only good comparison of yearling steers were those 900-950 lbs 40.00 higher, 1050-1100 lbs 7.00 higher. Yearling feeder heifers 700 lbs 40.00 higher, other weights not well compared. Very good demand for this lighter offering, the snowstorm that passed through the area caused some consignors to cancel and reschedule for next week. After the big gains in the CME Live and Feeder Cattle futures complex the last two sessions cattle feeders were feeling a little better about the trajectory of the market and were pretty eager bidders on the calves. A big string of yearlings offered in load lots and multiple load lots, flesh condition moderate plus to heavy. A large sale expected next week as area producers start their marketing of home raised calves. --------------------------------------------------------------- FEEDER CATTLE --------------------------------------------------------------- BEEF/DAIRY HEIFERS - Medium and Large 2-3 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 5 500-500 500 285-285 285 HEIFERS - Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 16 1023-1023 1023 263-263 263 HEIFERS - Large 1-2 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 15 1154-1154 1154 231-231 231 HEIFERS - Medium and Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 19 402-402 402 485-485 485 7 449-449 449 365-365 365 Fleshy 32 470-486 474 385-424 415.24 54 513-548 530 350-399 374.96 24 553-553 553 398-398 398 139 606-633 618 340-384 367.74 25 665-670 667 331-335 332.61 10 707-707 707 331-331 331 7 731-731 731 303-303 303 Fleshy 18 764-783 770 304-323 316.56 HEIFERS - Medium and Large 1-2 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 7 570-570 570 359-359 359 5 829-829 829 278-278 278 STEERS - Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 63 1068-1068 1068 283.25-283.25 283.25 55 1088-1088 1088 279-279 279 Fleshy 455 1112-1148 1132 265-279 274.08 Fleshy STEERS - Large 1-2 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 13 1228-1228 1228 246-246 246 STEERS - Medium and Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 14 418-418 418 540-540 540 22 483-483 483 500-500 500 33 538-546 540 414-415 414.31 79 550-594 576 382-446 403.03 129 625-646 635 365-400 391.94 8 668-668 668 345-345 345 Fleshy 59 651-685 669 365-386 374.56 34 750-780 760 327.5-335 333.53 10 859-859 859 305-305 305 56 932-932 932 320.5-320.5 320.5 STEERS - Medium and Large 1-2 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 3 603-603 603 355-355 355 5 728-728 728 344-344 344 9 987-987 987 295-295 295
