Demand was good.
Drought conditions prevail in the two reporting areas in this report.
Several head of would be grass cattle have been sold in the recent weeks 
due to no moisture in the area for grass growth, limited water and shortage of 
feed resources.
Tough situations many ranchers and cattlemen are faced with.
Marketings have moved forward as these would have been sold on summer 
video sales or come on direct trade later this year.
Now they are heading to the feedlot.
On bright note within the industry, feedlot sales hit record prices! 
Live sales sold steady to 5.00 higher from 260.00 to 265.00 and dressed sales 
sold 8.00 to 10.00 higher from 410.00 to 415.00.
 
Supply included:  100% Feeder Cattle (57.1% Steers, 42.9% Heifers).
Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 100%.
Unless otherwise noted, Feeder Cattle prices FOB based on net weights 
after a 2-3% shrink or equivalent, with up to15 cent slide > 600 lbs.
