Spot ethanol prices traded 1.5cts lower in Chicago and the New York Harbor Monday afternoon under pressure from losses for Chicago Board of Trade corn futures and New York Mercantile Exchange RBOB futures. Prompt in-tank transfer ethanol at the Argo terminal traded at $1.425 gallon for a loss of 1.5cts. October barged ethanol at the New York Harbor was pegged $1.475 gallon, down 1.5cts on the session. In the Gulf Coast, barged or railed ethanol in Houston was talked at $1.47 gallon, down 2.5cts on the session.
