Spot ethanol prices in New York Harbor declined in limited discussion early Monday afternoon while assessments in Chicago reversed down, sources said.
Prompt delivered ethanol at the Argo terminal in Chicago was assessed at $1.53 per gallon, 1.0 cent lower on the session while any-January was assessed at $1.5450 per gallon.
In the rail market, ethanol traded under Rule 11 for shipping to coastal markets was unchanged at $1.52 per gallon. Trade sources pegged January ethanol barges in the New York Harbor at $1.6375 per gallon, down 3.25 cents from the prior trade day, with offers at $1.645 per gallon.
