Spot ethanol prices traded lower in Chicago while talked a tad up in New York during a choppy session Monday, with ethanol tracking losses seen for corn and gasoline futures. Argo prompt ethanol traded at $1.41 gallon for a 1.0cts loss, while Chicago ethanol traded under Rule 11 for this week shipment was talked at a $1.38 to $1.41 gallon bid/ask, down about 1.0cts. New York Harbor February ethanol barges talked up 0.5cts at a $1.50 gallon notional value, while March barges at the Harbor were talked 1.0cts down at a $1.50 to $1.52 gallon bid/ask spread.
