Cash Ethanol Market Rallies on Falling U.U. Ethanol Supply

Spot ethanol prices rallied Wednesday after U.S. Energy Information Administration data showed a 1.9% draw for domestic ethanol supply. Nationwide ethanol stocks fell 341,000 bbl to a four-week low of 17.945 million bbl during the week-ended July 11.
Prompt ethanol at Argo near Chicago traded at $2.1425 per gallon, up 0.5 cents, while July New York Harbor ethanol barge traded at $2.29 per gallon, up 3.75 cents on the day. Northern California prompt ethanol was 9 cents higher at $2.40 per gallon.
