Argo, NYH Spot Ethanol Prices Boosted by Supply Concern
Spot ethanol prices extended higher this afternoon in the New York Harbor while prices at the Argo terminal near Chicago reversed higher amid supply concerns ahead of the weekend break, with midweek federal data showing total inventories dropped last week to a three-year low.
Ethanol at the Argo supply hub east of Chicago changed hands at $2.53 per gallon, gaining about 0.5 cents on the trade, while June ethanol barge at the New York Harbor traded at a $2.595 gallon and at $2.60 gallon, up 2.5 cents on the session.
