Spot ethanol prices slide further early Monday under pressure from an extended selloff for corn futures after a government report late last week raised estimates for corn stocks above analysts' forecasts, with ethanol delivered at Argo near Chicago down 9 cents at $2.36 gallon. "This is just an expected follow-through from Thursday's stock numbers," said a broker. "The market needs to find a bottom, and it might find it after today's liquidation."
