Spot ethanol prices and values of D6 Renewable Identification Numbers advanced in early trade Monday, buoyed by increased buying interest for physical product while supply is reportedly low, trade sources said.

A lack of available physical ethanol has slowed trading, with a number of buyers looking in vain for prompt delivered product. Railcars to ship ethanol from the Midwest to the East and Gulf coasts have been hard to come by while ethanol imports from Brazil have slowed to a trickle. Tradable D6 RINs continued to trade stronger this morning, lifted by worries over the impending "blend wall" that some say is now here.
