Spot Ethanol Prices Slip in Chicago, New York Harbor
Spot ethanol prices traded lower in Chicago and New York Harbor early Monday on the back of lower Chicago Board of Trade corn futures and New York Mercantile Exchange RBOB futures, with trade volume thin.
Prompt delivered ethanol at the Argo terminal in the Chicago cash market was talked at $1.42 to $1.44 per gallon, down 0.25 cents. In the rail shipment market, ethanol trading under Rule 11 terms changed hands at $1.41 and $1.415 per gallon, down 0.5 cents.
November barged ethanol at the New York Harbor was talked at a $1.51 to $1.52 per gallon bid/ask for a loss of 0.5 cents on the session.
