Chicago Area Spot Ethanol Trades Higher on Short-covering

Spot ethanol prices traded higher Friday in the Chicago market amid pre-weekend short covering and on higher Chicago Board of Trade corn futures.
Prompt delivered ethanol at Argo hub was talked last at a $1.535 to $1.56 per gallon bid/ask, up 0.75 cents, with April anys trading at $1.54 per gallon.
Argo ethanol delivered in May was talked in a $1.525 to $1.555 per gallon bid/ask, up a penny. Ethanol traded under Rule 11 for this week shipment changed hands at $1.52 and $1.54 per gallon.
