Spot ethanol prices traded a penny to 4 cents higher amid bargain hunting after a recent selloff, with additional support for ethanol from higher corn and RBOB futures. Wednesday's Energy Information Administration data showed a decline in production and higher demand.
Today ethanol at the Argo hub traded at $1.455 per gallon, with any November trade at $1.4725 per gallon and New York Harbor prompt barge at $1.56 per gallon and Pacific Northwest trade at $1.53 per gallon.
