Spot ethanol prices moved shallowly mixed in early trade Monday as traders weighed higher prices for corn futures against lower gasoline futures. Traders now await federal inventory data for the week-ended June 5 to provide clues about the supply and demand disposition. Prompt transfer ethanol at the Argo terminal near Chicago traded at $1.55 per gallon, up 1.0 cent. New York Harbor June ethanol traded at $1.64 per gallon, unchanged on the day. Arizona ethanol was assessed at $1.70 per gallon, down 1.0 cent from Friday.
