Prompt delivered ethanol moved lower in value in West Coast cash trade amid talk the physical market is well-supplied while short-term demand remained limited, said a trade source.

Cash prices for California's Bay Area traded at $1.78 per gallon, down 3.0 cents on the day. Pacific Northwest prompt ethanol traded at $1.70 per gallon, down 5.0 cents, while Arizona ethanol spot prices were talked at a $1.78-to-$1.80 per gallon range, down 1.5 cents. Chicago Rule 11 trade for this week ethanol shipment to coastal markets traded at $1.595 per gallon, down 5.5 cents.
