The market for ethanol compliance credits was strong in Friday afternoon trade, rallying on concern demand for ethanol could draw down supplies to record lows over the next couple of days and weeks, said a trade source. D6 Renewable Identification Numbers for 2013 traded at $1.19, up 5.5 cents on the day. Meanwhile, spot ethanol prices were unchanged to lower in early trade Friday, giving back some of the recent gains.
