U.S. Spot Ethanol Prices Little Changed in Lackluster Trade

U.S. spot ethanol prices were little changed in most regional markets in thin trade Thursday, moving in tandem with nearly flat trading for Chicago Mercantile Exchange corn futures.

No delays on product shipments were reported, despite severe weather including storms that caused power outages in some parts of the Midwest this week, said Brendon Marshall, an analyst at Northstar Commodity Investments Co. in Minneapolis, Minnesota. "Ethanol margins are still good," he added.
