A trader said New York Harbor ethanol deliveries continue to be hampered by logistical problems caused by Hurricane Sandy which explains why the Harbor's premium over Chicago has expanded in recent weeks by 2 cents to 10 cents.

Prompt delivered ethanol to the Harbor on an f.o.b. basis was talked at $2.48 gallon, up 4 cents on the session, while prompt ethanol at the Argo supply hub in Chicago was discussed at $2.38 gal, up 2 cents on the day.
