Spot Ethanol Flat as Traders Await Weekly Supply Data

Spot ethanol prices were mostly unchanged in thin trade Wednesday, with traders awaiting clues on weekly supply and demand, while Chicago Board of Trade December corn futures tracked gains for soybeans.

"Ethanol, RBOB and the rest of energy products are in retracement (mode) ahead of the supply report tomorrow, but there may be some selling opportunities tomorrow," said analyst Brendan Marshall at Northstar Investment Co.
