Another big run of cattle for todays auction with a house full of people. Good to moderate demand for todays offering that consisted of mostly home raised cattle that ranged from light fleshed hay fed cattle to moderate plus coming out of a grow yard. Plenty of loads, some multiple loads in the same sort along with part loads and packages for todays sale. Internet buyers were competing with order buyers and a few farmer feeder for cattle. A fairly active market, but buyers continue to remain cautious with market uncertainties looming overhead. A lower futures market, higher energy prices, a war going on in the Middle East and weather uncertainties in the next few days all contributed to an overall softer market. Next feeder sale is scheduled to be in two weeks, March 27, 2026. --------------------------------------------------------------- FEEDER CATTLE --------------------------------------------------------------- BULLS - Medium and Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 7 476-476 476 507.5-507.5 507.5 26 665-694 683 369-403 381.74 HEIFERS - Medium and Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 21 498-498 498 450-450 450 47 523-542 535 395-440 425.55 42 606-632 613 385-410 402.64 39 673-673 673 431-431 431 Replacement 205 673-696 680 351-390 377.19 258 700-740 729 356-382.5 363.96 164 733-747 740 402-422 412.46 Replacement 76 766-766 766 397-397 397 Replacement 597 760-774 770 349-360 356.7 286 801-804 803 352-353 352.5 Replacement 211 819-824 821 329-344 335.39 STEERS - Medium and Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 105 566-566 566 493-493 493 10 594-594 594 440-440 440 Fleshy 164 602-641 616 410-445 438 68 657-685 680 409-420 418.22 450 703-746 736 375-401.5 385.26 505 750-784 765 368-393 379.45 655 805-836 814 347-387.5 368.18 53 817-817 817 344-344 344 Full 831 856-898 876 340-369 350.22 126 937-937 937 340.5-340.5 340.5 STEERS - Medium and Large 1-2 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 14 658-658 658 397.5-397.5 397.5
