USDA Worthing, SD Fdr Cattle Wtd Avg 07/21 12:15 AMS_2026 MARS Sioux Falls Regional Cattle Auction - Worthing, SD Sioux Falls Regional Livestock-Worthing,SD Livestock Weighted Average Report for 07/21/2025 - Final Auction This Week Last Reported Last Year ------------------------------------------------------------ Total Receipts: ------------------------------------------------------------ FEEDER CATTLE 1421 3102 1769 Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers mostly steady. Very good demand for yearling steers and heifers. The market was very active for this seasonal run of feeder cattle. 1 big consignment of 800 head of steers offered in multiple load lots, with 7 full loads in the main sort, a couple of other long strings offered in full loads as well. The flesh condition was attractive overall as majority of the cattle were in a light to moderate flesh condition. As the cash fed cattle market continues to hold around 240.00, leaving a positive basis of basically 20.00, there is great interest to buy these yearlings. --------------------------------------------------------------- FEEDER CATTLE --------------------------------------------------------------- HEIFERS - Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 51 1004-1004 1004 265-265 265 Fleshy 7 1313-1313 1313 245.5-245.5 245.5 Fleshy HEIFERS - Medium and Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 11 503-548 515 387.5-395 392.82 7 685-685 685 319-319 319 Fleshy 68 752-763 754 322-324.5 324.13 4 805-805 805 305-305 305 22 919-934 922 280-297 287.52 6 954-954 954 273-273 273 Fleshy 6 958-958 958 284.5-284.5 284.5 HEIFERS - Medium and Large 1-2 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 5 535-535 535 345-345 345 STEERS - Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 240 1004-1008 1005 302.25-303.25 303 5 1075-1075 1075 282-282 282 9 1102-1102 1102 271-271 271 Fleshy 163 1102-1129 1115 279.5-291 286.78 20 1234-1234 1234 264.25-264.25 264.25 STEERS - Medium and Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 3 607-607 607 390-390 390 9 687-687 687 364-364 364 40 803-842 838 322-341 323.82 53 866-897 888 312.5-318 314.12 46 922-922 922 307.5-307.5 307.5 431 973-993 988 294-309 306.01 STEERS - Medium and Large 1-2 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 3 293-293 293 545-545 545 14 740-740 740 351-351 351 Thin Fleshed 10 747-747 747 339-339 339 10 891-891 891 303-303 303 10 906-906 906 292-292 292
