Compared to the Special Feeder Cattle Sale one week ago, 500 - 600 lb steer 
calves today were 8.00 - 15.00 higher, 700 - 800 lb mostly steady to 10.00 
higher. Lighter weight heifer calves were as much as 20.00 higher with 600 - 
700 lb calves steady to 12.00 higher. Many opportunities for quality reputation 
replacement heifers. Available today were load lots or smaller packages of 
green, LTW'd, double vaccinated, quality feeder calves. Demand was very good 
for today's moderate supply. Internet bidding active. The next scheduled 
special feeder calf auction is Jan 22.
