USDA Worthing, SD Slaughter Cattle Auction 06/04 14:00 AMS_2016 MARS Sioux Falls Regional Livestock Auction - Worthing, SD Sioux Falls Regional Livestock-Worthing,SD Livestock Weighted Average Report for 06/04/2025 - Final Auction This Week Last Reported Last Year ------------------------------------------------------------ Total Receipts: ------------------------------------------------------------ SLAUGHTER SHEEP/LAMBS 2863 4673 2330 SLAUGHTER CATTLE 991 590 952 SLAUGHTER GOATS 360 300 470 FEEDER SHEEP/LAMBS 349 267 304 Slaughter steers and heifers 10.00 to 12.00 higher. Very good demand for this nice offering of steers and heifers. More new crop, calf fed steers and heifers showing up, fewer of the heavyweight cattle. The market was incredibly active as packer buyers were quick to bid and advanced rapidly. 4 full loads of steers, 1 full load of heifers, balance stock trailer loads. Slaughter lambs under 120 lbs 20.00 to 25.00 lower, over 120 lbs 5.00 to 10.00 lower. Slaughter ewes 8.00 to 10.00 lower. Another large offering of slaughter lambs, including two full loads of fat lambs. Good demand for the traditional weight fat lambs, moderate for the non-traditional. The market was not as active on the non-traditional weight slaughter lambs as the supply remains plentiful. Demand was lighter on the slaughter ewes again this week. --------------------------------------------------------------- SLAUGHTER SHEEP/LAMBS --------------------------------------------------------------- BUCKS -
