USDA Worthing, SD Fdr Cattle Wtd Avg 04/21 12:20 AMS_2026 MARS Sioux Falls Regional Cattle Auction - Worthing, SD Sioux Falls Regional Livestock-Worthing,SD Livestock Weighted Average Report for 04/21/2025 - Final Auction This Week Last Reported Last Year ------------------------------------------------------------ Total Receipts: ------------------------------------------------------------ FEEDER CATTLE 1321 2809 0 Compared to last week: The only good comparison for feeder steers were those over 850 lbs 1.00 to 2.00 higher, other weights too lightly tested. Feeder heifers 700-800 lbs 7.00 to 10.00 higher, 850-900 lbs 4.00 higher, other weights not well compared. The market was very active on the light steers and heifers offered, the offering was limited but there were ample buyers competing heavily for this class of cattle, quality was uneven and flesh condition was as well. A nice offering of strings of yearlings offered in load lots and multiple load lots, the market was active as cash fat cattle climbed back up to 215.00 and cattle feeders are eager to refill their empty pens. A beautiful spring day allowing farmers to get in the field with some welcomed rain in the forecast for later in the week, yet there were still plenty of buyers on the seats. --------------------------------------------------------------- FEEDER CATTLE --------------------------------------------------------------- HEIFERS - Medium 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 6 797-797 797 262-262 262 HEIFERS - Medium and Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 6 442-442 442 400-400 400 6 482-482 482 410-410 410 2 515-515 515 395-395 395 13 588-588 588 322-322 322 Fleshy 22 618-618 618 306-306 306 Fleshy 18 662-680 673 292-305 296.97 26 698-698 698 286-286 286 Fleshy 156 714-725 720 294-295 294.5 29 733-733 733 291-291 291 Fleshy 104 766-786 778 272.5-280 276.19 285 852-859 856 252-263 253.85 141 906-932 910 249-259 257.55 5 986-986 986 244-244 244 HEIFERS - Medium and Large 1-2 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 8 499-499 499 335-335 335 15 784-784 784 269-269 269 14 979-979 979 225-225 225 Fleshy STEERS - Medium 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 6 692-692 692 288-288 288 STEERS - Medium and Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 5 481-481 481 415-415 415 9 555-555 555 372.5-372.5 372.5 19 584-584 584 351-351 351 Fleshy 50 603-603 603 337.5-337.5 337.5 Fleshy 22 689-689 689 328-328 328 27 696-698 697 312.5-319 316.83 Fleshy 22 746-746 746 297-297 297 Fleshy 12 789-789 789 291-291 291 67 895-895 895 283-283 283 14 957-957 957 258-258 258 STEERS - Medium and Large 1-2 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 23 477-477 477 405-405 405 5 577-577 577 327.5-327.5 327.5 4 656-656 656 336-336 336 8 740-740 740 292-292 292 12 839-839 839 278-278 278 6 864-864 864 246-246 246 Fleshy 13 994-994 994 243-243 243 Fleshy
