USDA Worthing, SD Fdr Cattle Wtd Avg 01/19 17:35 AMS_2026 MARS Sioux Falls Regional Cattle Auction - Worthing, SD Sioux Falls Regional Livestock-Worthing,SD Livestock Weighted Average Report for 01/19/2026 - Final Auction This Week Last Reported Last Year ------------------------------------------------------------ Total Receipts: ------------------------------------------------------------ FEEDER CATTLE 6156 2917 6306 Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers unevenly steady, except 700-800 lbs steers 10.00 to 15.00 lower. Very good demand for this very large offering of home raised steers and heifers, along with a couple of consignments of long strings of yearling steers and heifers. The market was active, yet there was some pressure on the market due to the sharp declines in the cattle futures contracts last Friday. The market remains the most active on those lighter weight steers and heifers, as fewer of those light cattle in the offering. Flesh condition continues to run more towards the moderate to moderate plus as until this past weekend the weather was incredibly mild for January, cattle have been able to gain weight very easily. Prices achieved this week reflected the heavier flesh condition. Below zero temps overnight and more in the forecast for this week. Quality of home raised calves was really attractive overall. Long strings and full loads, including multiple loads commanded top prices. Flesh condition of yearlings was mostly moderate and sold accordingly, the market was active as full loads of yearlings are hard to find. --------------------------------------------------------------- FEEDER CATTLE --------------------------------------------------------------- BULLS - Medium and Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 13 730-730 730 357-357 357 HEIFERS - Medium 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 8 743-743 743 292.5-292.5 292.5 Fleshy HEIFERS - Medium and Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 3 255-255 255 650-650 650 6 291-291 291 530-530 530 Fleshy 14 330-348 336 515-517.5 516.58 7 361-361 361 515-515 515 50 400-439 422 470-520 485.74 13 461-461 461 445-445 445 Fleshy 111 450-497 471 460-535 498.08 9 510-517 512 490-490 490 Thin Fleshed 273 504-548 530 425-472.5 453.47 201 558-599 579 400-462.5 429.23 20 600-600 600 425-425 425 Replacement 299 609-649 635 365-414 392.73 59 659-695 676 399-400 399.55 Replacement 236 653-699 677 362-389 381.07 74 702-739 716 323-332 325.94 Fleshy 239 702-743 722 345-372.5 358.97 31 768-768 768 322-322 322 Fleshy 173 750-797 769 326-363 344.89 109 803-821 811 320-333 329.09 14 828-828 828 310-310 310 Fleshy 19 881-893 884 305-310.5 309.04 113 906-946 928 292.5-310.5 300.43 7 939-939 939 285-285 285 Fleshy 173 963-983 970 288.5-292.25 290.91 HEIFERS - Medium and Large 1-2 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 35 560-597 580 325-395 367.67 21 615-626 620 350-350 350 10 713-713 713 330-330 330 STEERS - Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 109 1097-1097 1097 325-325 325 STEERS - Large 1-2 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 7 1057-1057 1057 277-277 277 STEERS - Medium 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 13 740-740 740 310-310 310 STEERS - Medium and Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 3 227-227 227 710-710 710 7 301-338 312 640-685 653.95 20 379-391 383 615-625 621.93 55 406-446 421 550-610 574.24 9 427-427 427 540-540 540 Unweaned 121 451-480 465 505-555 532.81 33 508-538 526 455-480 463.41 Fleshy 33 508-538 526 455-480 463.41 Fleshy 171 504-548 532 485-537.5 505.93 235 557-599 578 420-477.5 460.33 364 601-644 626 420-460 439.97 435 650-697 672 404-457.5 424 425 701-747 726 370-404 391.19 11 748-748 748 363-363 363 Fleshy 320 751-795 772 358-385 371.49 19 779-798 790 341-351 346.85 Fleshy 396 804-849 820 355-373 365.41 23 828-847 837 348-349 348.52 Fleshy 7 858-858 858 339-339 339 Fleshy 39 854-868 859 345-358 351.09 19 910-910 910 315-315 315 Fleshy 83 903-934 914 347-354.5 351.42 6 918-918 918 330-330 330 Full 57 979-979 979 339-339 339 STEERS - Medium and Large 1-2 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 15 426-446 441 480-505 498.56 4 486-486 486 505-505 505 5 528-528 528 455-455 455 44 568-588 576 400-410 407.28 36 629-629 629 375-375 375 8 786-786 786 354-354 354

DTN Aghost Early Word Livestock

Cattle futures are finding sufficient support to push higher on the anticipation of higher cash trade. Feeder cattle led the charge, pushing through resistance. Hogs ran out of steam, correcting for the overbought status.
