Feeder heifers traded mixed with 550 to 600 lbs. 7.00 higher and 600 to 650 lbs. 13.00 lower. Other weights did not have the numbers for a comparison this week. Many nice strings of feeders in the offering this week with a few load lots. Most calves are coming to market weaned and shots. A few strings of calves right off the cow and prices were lower for these feeder. More feeders are carrying a lot of tag this week compared to previous offerings. This did not seem to hurt the prices paid by buyers. Very good demand for all classes of feeders today. The few bunches of heavier weight feeders brought much lower prices this week. Most feeders were in light to moderate plus flesh conditions this week. --------------------------------------------------------------- FEEDER CATTLE --------------------------------------------------------------- HEIFERS - Medium and Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 7 395-395 395 530-530 530 21 401-449 425 500-540 523.24 11 487-487 487 425-425 425 102 509-547 537 426-447.5 432.85 139 550-590 563 412.5-455 435.13 10 6168-6168 6168 420-420 420 145 613-648 629 376-428 407.65 13 657-657 657 347.5-347.5 347.5 Unweaned 169 653-681 660 390-396 393.84 7 704-704 704 365-365 365 30 758-792 772 330-346 340.31 6 802-802 802 337.5-337.5 337.5 HEIFERS - Medium and Large 1-2 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 17 416-416 416 480-480 480 9 457-457 457 480-480 480 13 643-643 643 366-366 366 STEERS - Medium and Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 21 422-425 423 540-585 555.07 16 481-481 481 530-530 530 72 519-540 525 505-540 529.01 61 576-578 576 477.5-484 483.57 5 605-605 605 375-375 375 Fleshy 163 601-646 618 425-475 449.15 124 650-695 670 416-447 431.39 233 708-749 729 385-414 400.68 108 751-796 779 374.5-387.5 377.93 7 838-838 838 363-363 363 5 900-900 900 315-315 315 9 952-952 952 335-335 335 STEERS - Medium and Large 1-2 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 6 399-399 399 515-515 515 7 520-520 520 475-475 475 7 615-615 615 400-400 400 5 782-782 782 292-292 292
