USDA ND Weekly Auction Summary

USDA ND Weekly Auction Summary 11/17 07:00 AMS_2100 MARS North Dakota Weekly Cattle Auction Summary -, Livestock Weighted Average Report for 11/10/2025 - Final Summary This Week Last Reported Last Year ------------------------------------------------------------ Total Receipts: ------------------------------------------------------------ FEEDER CATTLE 14416 11558 14597 Compared to last week: Steer and heifer calves 15.00 to 30.00 higher. Very good demand for steer and heifer calves this week as the early part of the week the futures contracts were supportive of the cash, market, that changed by Thursday as limit losses occurred in the Feeder Cattle contracts. Cattle producers have had a very difficult time making decisions concerning the market as the futures contracts are fluctuating wildly. The sound market fundamentals that propelled the market to record high prices, is now being overshadowed by uncertainty and fear as the futures contracts decline rapidly. Cash fat cattle were lower again as packers point to a lower futures market and bid accordingly. Cash fat cattle sales in Iowa by Friday were all the way down to 218.00, which is par with the Dec Live Cattle contract. --------------------------------------------------------------- FEEDER CATTLE --------------------------------------------------------------- BULLS - Medium and Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 9 524-524 524 375-375 375 29 599-599 599 300-325 318.97 5 695-695 695 285-285 285 HEIFERS - Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 23 1005-1038 1029 281-307 294.81 HEIFERS - Medium and Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 5 305-323 319 447.5-475 452.75 74 351-383 371 450-512.5 478.14 279 403-443 423 425-490 454.76 783 452-499 478 377.5-448 421.03 17 514-514 514 425-425 425 Fancy 957 501-548 526 372-422.5 402.05 49 548-548 548 430-430 430 Replacement 142 555-583 563 393.5-406 397.24 Fancy 187 556-580 569 395-452.5 425.06 Replacement 687 550-599 570 342.5-405.5 377.76 15 600-600 600 392-392 392 Replacement 106 607-607 607 390-390 390 Fancy 374 603-644 619 342.5-382.5 371.82 13 655-655 655 365-365 365 Replacement 22 656-668 662 345-350 347.48 87 686-686 686 370-370 370 Fancy 119 701-740 721 312.5-341 332.21 59 770-779 773 307-330 322.53 36 828-836 831 318-334 327.74 25 897-897 897 314-314 314 13 936-936 936 308-308 308 18 950-989 965 304-306 304.8 HEIFERS - Medium and Large 1-2 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 5 323-323 323 415-415 415 21 366-395 383 420-445 432.42 78 409-441 427 375-415 402.48 26 454-491 475 350-429 391.05 87 503-549 532 330-382.5 357.71 17 551-569 561 342.5-408 372.8 18 648-648 648 342-342 342 6 672-672 672 331-331 331 8 701-701 701 300-300 300 11 751-751 751 307-307 307 STEERS - Medium and Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 5 235-235 235 605-605 605 3 298-298 298 590-590 590 39 303-342 331 515-600 573.54 80 353-392 378 539-600 583.43 448 401-449 438 475-555 521.97 523 450-499 474 461-535 490.75 6 489-489 489 456-456 456 Fleshy 47 519-519 519 475-475 475 Fancy 1372 500-548 525 421-497.5 465.37 86 550-550 550 473-473 473 Fancy 1665 551-597 572 402.5-475 437.6 1824 600-644 622 379-443 418.09 173 625-627 626 421-421 421 Fancy 14 638-638 638 377-377 377 Fleshy 412 651-693 665 377-422.5 397.07 246 700-749 731 364-390 378.55 81 752-797 772 325-360 343.78 4 841-841 841 335-335 335 6 873-873 873 325-325 325 STEERS - Medium and Large 1-2 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 3 293-293 293 540-540 540 7 337-337 337 525-525 525 4 374-374 374 525-525 525 45 430-437 436 460-475 472.04 41 464-493 477 437.5-469 450.84 78 504-549 526 410-440 420.25 143 568-595 584 355-430 401.65 41 604-639 621 340-390 368.66 52 675-691 684 357.5-357.5 357.5 32 732-734 733 320-355 343.37
