First reported video sale in several months a market trend is not applicable.
Demand was good to instances very good.
Bulk of the receipts will be coming right off the cow at time of delivery 
and will be fully vaccinated with a booster vaccination.
Few, weaned calves and a around four loads of yearling cattle in the run.
Looking back to the July 2nd video sale last year and comparing producer 
to producer this year's calf market is on either side of 100.00 per cwt more 
than last year's sale.
Unbelievable!  Most lots sold with a two weigh slide up and down from 
base weight.
With a 25 to 30 lbs weight stops.
With dry pasture conditions across the trade area most producers opted 
to place a implant hoping to gain a few more pounds at time of shipment.
 
Supply included: 100% Feeder Cattle (79% Steers, 21% Heifers).
Feeder cattle over 600 lbs was 53%.
Feeder Cattle prices FOB based on net weights after a 2-3% pencil shrink 
or equivalent, with a 10-25 cent slide > 600 lbs and up to 25 cent slide < 600 
lbs.
