Steer calves from 400 lbs to 549 lbs were 10.00 to 20.00 higher, steers from 550 lbs to 700 lbs were generally steady. Heifer calves from 450 lbs to 550 lbs were steady to 10.00 higher, heifers from 550 lbs to 600 lbs were 10.00 to 15.00 lower. A big run of cattle for todays sale with a few consignments of old cop yearlings mostly off grass that were met with moderate demand. Yearlings consisted of tested open replacement heifers, most in packages and a few consignments of steers. Yearlings were light to medium fleshed and generally attractive for quality. Calves were fresh off the cow except for one consignment. Calves were in light flesh condition and most had two rounds of vaccinations. Several strings offering multiple loads as well as plenty of part loads and packages made for an active market. Good demand for todays offering with mostly order buyers and internet buyers competing with a few farmer feeders for todays sale. Weather has been warmer than normal allowing for good progress on fall harvest and made the movement of cattle fairly easy. Next feeder sale is scheduled for Friday, November 21st, expecting a large run of high quality calves and yearlings. --------------------------------------------------------------- FEEDER CATTLE --------------------------------------------------------------- HEIFERS - Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 12 1020-1020 1020 302-302 302 33 1118-1118 1118 272-272 272 8 1181-1181 1181 266-266 266 HEIFERS - Medium and Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 11 316-321 319 545-580 560.77 75 369-393 379 482.5-520 497.59 42 403-447 433 425-445 430.95 46 438-438 438 530-530 530 Fancy 496 458-491 479 420-487 443.16 48 478-497 483 402.5-410 407.58 Full 100 522-522 522 460-460 460 Replacement 125 502-530 524 406-442 429.85 358 560-586 575 428-462 453.28 Replacement 273 551-598 578 369-417.5 383.93 131 600-624 612 359-406 384.28 153 621-621 621 442-442 442 Replacement 34 625-625 625 343-343 343 Fleshy 42 694-694 694 344-344 344 25 807-807 807 306-306 306 Spayed 5 846-846 846 294-294 294 55 868-868 868 305-305 305 HEIFERS - Medium and Large 1-2 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 7 306-306 306 590-590 590 11 478-489 483 375-380 377.3 30 509-522 517 358-385 374.36 30 580-591 589 305-370 317.81 14 619-619 619 345-345 345 STEERS - Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 9 1022-1022 1022 288-288 288 STEERS - Medium 2 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 60 389-389 389 395-395 395 STEERS - Medium and Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 12 328-343 336 580-595 587.33 46 357-376 369 555-587.5 569.45 190 417-446 439 507.5-540.5 526.18 654 451-499 477 469-516 492.24 1146 502-549 527 447.5-499 466.57 26 529-529 529 435-436 435.73 Full 1393 551-599 579 415-457 435.33 1076 600-641 624 407-452 426.78 350 657-675 669 382-418 408.1 STEERS - Medium and Large 1-2 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 13 328-328 328 560-560 560 19 376-394 386 445-510 485.31 12 400-400 400 471-471 471 13 487-490 489 380-450 423.18 5 520-520 520 365-365 365 49 551-573 555 332.5-401 385.82 38 616-647 624 347-394 381.04 STEERS - Medium and Large 2 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 55 497-497 497 317.5-317.5 317.5
