Western Iowa Preconditioned Sale.  Compared to the auction last Thursday;  
Steers 650-850 lbs were unevenly steady, with light steers mostly 11.00-12.00 
lower and yearling steers 10.00 higher.  Heifers had light numbers today, 
showing a lower trend.  Flesh condition of the cattle varied, affecting prices 
in both steers and heifers.  The auction consisted of 7 loads, 3 half loads and 
many smaller strings.  With buyers uncertain of the rollercoaster of the CME 
feeder cattle futures, demand slightly down.
