USDA Dickenson, ND Wtd Avg-Stockman's 09/10 14:55 AMS_2099 MARS Stockmen's Livestock Exchange - Dickinson, ND Stockmen's Livestock Exchange-Dickinson,ND Livestock Weighted Average Report for 09/10/2026 - Final Auction This Week Last Reported Last Year ------------------------------------------------------------ Total Receipts: ------------------------------------------------------------ FEEDER CATTLE 3196 1787 2644 First reported sale of the season, no price comparisons available. The market was very active for this anniversary yearling special sale. Many long strings of high quality yearlings offered in full loads and multiple load lots, along with ample packages to put together and fill loads out. The futures contracts continue to offer little support to the cash market, but cattle buyers were not deterred from the chance to buy yearlings right off grass, and competed very heavily to get cattle bought as strings of yearlings are in tight supply. Flesh condition ranged from very light to moderate plus, as some cattle have been fed a little as the drought conditions have been severe and forced some off grass early. --------------------------------------------------------------- FEEDER CATTLE --------------------------------------------------------------- HEIFERS - Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 11 1004-1004 1004 297-297 297 Spayed 72 1001-1034 1005 289-294 292.67 7 1094-1094 1094 272-272 272 HEIFERS - Medium 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 28 754-798 774 302.5-327 314.22 HEIFERS - Medium and Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 40 1051-1061 1055 268-270 268.7 Fleshy 5 498-498 498 470-470 470 14 671-672 671 361-366 363.86 32 722-722 722 361-361 361 Spayed 142 716-744 741 331.5-336 332.02 50 752-752 752 337-337 337 Spayed 20 779-796 786 330-333 331.78 65 811-811 811 331-331 331 Spayed 143 809-844 829 319-333 322.59 101 855-858 857 323.5-330 327.88 Spayed 101 855-858 857 323.5-330 327.88 Spayed 522 850-889 863 301-319 308.36 61 892-892 892 293-293 293 Full 118 901-944 911 290-313 310.02 92 963-987 978 293-298 294 HEIFERS - Medium and Large 1-2 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 44 738-744 743 321-329 328.1 7 909-909 909 279-279 279 STEERS - Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 173 1000-1020 1019 313-328 327.15 21 1025-1025 1025 302-302 302 Full 10 1060-1060 1060 302-302 302 STEERS - Large 1-2 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 17 1034-1048 1044 295-301 296.75 STEERS - Medium 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 13 766-766 766 334-334 334 STEERS - Medium 1-2 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 12 781-781 781 334-334 334 STEERS - Medium and Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 17 630-630 630 390-390 390 7 705-705 705 370-370 370 257 755-796 784 353-370 366.09 6 804-804 804 357-357 357 350 903-947 922 330-349 342.47 115 980-990 983 303-310 306.21 STEERS - Medium and Large 1-2 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 9 523-523 523 445-445 445 6 682-682 682 372-372 372 Thin Fleshed 5 703-703 703 362.5-362.5 362.5 49 750-784 758 340-355 346.67 8 786-786 786 364-364 364 Thin Fleshed 62 820-848 833 331-346 337.61 274 859-888 874 332-359 354.93 20 913-945 932 305.5-319 310.79

DTN AgHost Midday Livestock Comments

Livestock futures have remained generally quiet early Friday morning, with increased focus on the afternoon release of the cattle on feed report. Although limited additional cash market activity is expected to be seen until late afternoon, the early movement of steady price levels from last week's levels may set the overall trend of the market for the week.
