USDA Worthing, SD Fdr Cattle Wtd Avg 12/15 16:35 AMS_2026 MARS Sioux Falls Regional Cattle Auction - Worthing, SD Sioux Falls Regional Livestock-Worthing,SD Livestock Weighted Average Report for 12/15/2025 - Final Auction This Week Last Reported Last Year ------------------------------------------------------------ Total Receipts: ------------------------------------------------------------ FEEDER CATTLE 6062 5232 5565 Compared to last week: Steer calves 10.00 to 20.00 higher, instances to 30.00 higher on weights under 550 lbs, heifer calves 10.00 to 20.00 higher. Yearling steers steady to 3.00 higher, yearling heifers unevenly steady. Very good demand for this very large offering of spring born steer and heifer calves, good demand for the strings of yearling steers and heifers. After last week's advance in the cattle futures contracts, and reports of 232.00 cash fat cattle top in Iowa last week, cattle feeders were much more optimistic than they have been in recent months. Plenty of buyers on the seats, ready to battle it out, to buy these good home raised calves and backgrounded yearlings. Flesh condition of calves was rather attractive as the weather has been cold, and the weekly storms have kept calves from getting too fleshy as it's been tough to keep cattle dry. Flesh condition of yearlings moderate plus to heavy. The market was extremely active on calves, the calf market has just about fully recovered and returned to the levels before it crashed in the middle of October. The yearling market was active as there were some long strings offered in multiple load lots that allowed buyers to make uniform pens. --------------------------------------------------------------- FEEDER CATTLE --------------------------------------------------------------- BEEF/DAIRY STEERS - Medium and Large 2 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 4 731-731 731 305-305 305 HEIFERS - Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 124 1002-1002 1002 274-274 274 Fleshy 70 1044-1044 1044 276-276 276 16 1064-1064 1064 286-286 286 40 1103-1112 1109 271-271 271 HEIFERS - Medium and Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 8 315-348 336 500-570 524.64 30 376-399 387 495-525 509.75 62 418-445 428 445-500 481.52 186 453-497 478 435-470 455.44 172 501-546 517 405-457.5 438.51 396 552-599 583 365-437.5 408.23 396 552-599 583 365-437.5 408.23 170 605-643 618 368-407.5 394.32 290 651-696 677 358-383 372.15 15 680-686 683 275-350 310.16 Fleshy 7 717-717 717 324-324 324 Fleshy 248 700-737 723 343-380 358.49 108 771-798 780 328-356 334.58 53 810-828 822 320-336 330.25 27 893-893 893 304-304 304 6 948-948 948 294-294 294 130 979-979 979 279-279 279 Fleshy 24 976-987 981 280-295 288.08 HEIFERS - Medium and Large 1-2 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 6 579-579 579 365-365 365 18 706-731 720 325-340 333.46 STEERS - Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 275 1010-1028 1022 314-329 326.83 19 1075-1075 1075 321-321 321 Fleshy 92 1079-1079 1079 325.85-325.85 325.85 12 1123-1123 1123 313-313 313 STEERS - Large 1-2 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 7 1031-1031 1031 312-312 312 STEERS - Medium 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 9 551-551 551 360-360 360 STEERS - Medium and Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 5 332-332 332 615-615 615 28 363-393 380 565-640 590.34 29 404-449 430 520-580 540.33 197 450-491 468 480-542.5 518.32 120 521-521 521 525-525 525 Thin Fleshed 196 506-548 526 465-520 494.55 13 562-581 574 410-420 413.77 Fleshy 245 552-597 581 425-466 445 60 608-608 608 461-461 461 Thin Fleshed 266 609-649 633 385-440 425 7 641-641 641 370-370 370 Fleshy 390 650-696 669 376-437.5 416.11 9 692-692 692 365-365 365 Fleshy 297 704-749 732 365-418 387.09 10 775-775 775 324-324 324 Fleshy 166 752-799 779 368-395 373.64 47 833-833 833 358-358 358 47 833-833 833 358-358 358 304 862-894 884 334-349 338.84 65 922-942 940 339-346 345.15 26 951-951 951 312.5-312.5 312.5 Fleshy 287 966-996 975 324-339 334.23 STEERS - Medium and Large 1-2 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 15 461-494 476 455-455 455 34 559-597 586 375-410 389.01 6 625-625 625 395-395 395 68 659-694 690 370-380 378.88 7 754-754 754 337-337 337
