USDA ND Weekly Auction Summary

USDA ND Weekly Auction Summary 02/08 20:00 AMS_2100 MARS North Dakota Weekly Cattle Auction Summary -, Livestock Weighted Average Report for 02/02/2026 - Final Summary This Week Last Reported Last Year ------------------------------------------------------------ Total Receipts: ------------------------------------------------------------ FEEDER CATTLE 11171 7366 2555 Compared to last week: Feeder steers under 550 lbs 15.00 to 20.00 higher, over 550 lbs steady to 5.00 lower. Feeder heifers unevenly steady. The market is very active on light weight and fleshed cattle to background, it's still active on the heavier cattle bound for finishing yards but cattle feeders are a little more wary as they still feel the sting on cattle they sold after the mid-October collapse. Feeder cattle and fat cattle, both, have regained those levels but the Live Cattle futures is struggling to keep up with the cash trade. Lots of demand seen for replacement quality heifers. Very mild weather, for February made it easier for cattle producers to get their stock shipped to town this week as they look to capitalize on this market. --------------------------------------------------------------- FEEDER CATTLE --------------------------------------------------------------- BEEF/DAIRY HEIFERS - Large 2 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 7 952-952 952 274-274 274 BEEF/DAIRY STEERS - Large 2 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 8 1048-1048 1048 300-300 300 HEIFERS - Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 57 1035-1035 1035 291.5-291.5 291.5 HEIFERS - Medium and Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 3 312-312 312 570-570 570 41 358-395 374 530-570 555.02 85 401-449 427 500-560 532.45 77 455-497 471 425-520 493.87 443 504-547 533 426-485 455.55 27 538-538 538 454.5-454.5 454.5 Replacement 366 550-599 568 412.5-460 439.23 734 602-648 629 376-435 414.84 39 617-648 634 399-425 409.56 Replacement 13 657-657 657 347.5-347.5 347.5 Unweaned 433 650-699 667 367.5-412 394.23 151 653-684 671 2850-3200 3073.79 Replacement 259 669-692 675 395-437.5 411.78 Replacement 68 715-730 723 3575-3600 3585.9 Replacement 249 701-743 727 363-397.5 382.59 Replacement 182 701-747 730 350-375 364 125 750-759 754 3600-3700 3659.71 Replacement 112 758-792 772 330-359 345.1 63 756-782 779 345.5-390 350.3 Replacement 15 802-817 811 337.5-350 345.06 32 813-813 813 3625-3625 3625 Replacement 12 953-953 953 292.5-292.5 292.5 HEIFERS - Medium and Large 1-2 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 7 1049-1049 1049 275-275 275 17 416-416 416 480-480 480 49 457-483 475 440-480 462.51 27 539-546 544 430-435 433.35 5 550-550 550 420-420 420 49 628-647 640 366-383 376.82 STEERS - Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 15 1092-1092 1092 297-297 297 STEERS - Medium and Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 3 328-328 328 650-650 650 26 357-374 365 600-640 627.85 68 404-442 421 540-610 586.35 172 450-498 480 525-580 549.21 435 500-543 526 500-547 529.53 547 551-598 583 460-505 481.62 5 605-605 605 375-375 375 Fleshy 104 606-606 606 480-480 480 Fancy 537 601-646 627 424-475 448.57 57 652-652 652 457-457 457 Fancy 833 650-698 675 406-447 423.51 1244 704-749 725 381-414 401.51 1021 751-799 775 365-410 380.6 375 813-842 826 351-371 367.1 125 867-896 881 353.5-354.5 354 147 900-936 915 315-355 349.12 24 952-965 960 332.5-335 333.43 STEERS - Medium and Large 1-2 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 6 399-399 399 515-515 515 15 448-448 448 555-555 555 14 520-534 527 474-475 474.49 19 615-628 623 400-422.5 414.32 19 689-689 689 370-370 370 5 782-782 782 292-292 292
