USDA Worthing, SD Fdr Cattle Wtd Avg 04/06 12:30 AMS_2026 MARS Sioux Falls Regional Cattle Auction - Worthing, SD Sioux Falls Regional Livestock-Worthing,SD Livestock Weighted Average Report for 04/06/2026 - Final Auction This Week Last Reported Last Year ------------------------------------------------------------ Total Receipts: ------------------------------------------------------------ FEEDER CATTLE 2609 4000 2703 Compared to last week: Feeder steers mostly 10.00 higher, except 850-1000 lbs steady. Feeder heifers steady to 5.00 higher, except 700-750 lbs and 800-850 lbs 10.00 higher. Very good demand for all weights of steers and heifers as the cash fed cattle market spiked to 245.00 in the north last week. Another day of higher Live Cattle futures helped to add to the optimistic attitudes of cattle feeders. Large strings of yearlings, including one consignment of nearly 500 head, offered in full loads and multiple load lots which allowed buyers to make uniform pens of cattle from a single source. Flesh condition mostly moderate to moderate plus, yet there were light fleshed cattle offered as well. The market was very active after many auction markets not hosting a feeder cattle auction last week and cattle feeders are looking to fill their empty pens as quickly as they can. --------------------------------------------------------------- FEEDER CATTLE --------------------------------------------------------------- BEEF/DAIRY STEERS - Medium and Large 2-3 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 5 448-448 448 440-440 440 HEIFERS - Medium and Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 5 375-375 375 540-540 540 15 625-625 625 370-370 370 Fleshy 25 646-646 646 383-383 383 17 651-684 667 387.5-407.5 397.16 310 716-749 725 364-385.5 380.64 57 751-788 763 341-362 355.63 212 800-849 827 326-341.5 335.31 197 861-893 880 314.25-333.5 317.86 491 912-925 919 309-318.25 315.66 37 947-947 947 299.5-299.5 299.5 Fleshy 82 956-969 963 300.5-303 301.82 HEIFERS - Medium and Large 1-2 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 5 451-451 451 470-470 470 5 517-517 517 430-430 430 40 557-597 592 402.5-414 412.65 3 642-642 642 380-380 380 59 666-666 666 376-376 376 STEERS - Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 78 1012-1027 1023 322-324 323.52 STEERS - Medium 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 8 885-885 885 315-315 315 STEERS - Medium and Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 4 506-506 506 530-530 530 5 525-525 525 475-475 475 Fleshy 35 562-562 562 477.5-477.5 477.5 102 651-691 685 414-435 428.94 39 707-729 726 412.5-419 418.03 104 750-775 763 390-393 391.22 44 811-827 813 359-375 372.78 25 837-837 837 358-358 358 Fleshy 226 872-889 883 346-353 349.58 79 907-910 909 339-343 342.29 68 979-979 979 321-321 321 Fleshy 60 987-987 987 326-326 326 STEERS - Medium and Large 1-2 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 13 480-480 480 515-515 515 6 509-509 509 475-475 475 10 590-590 590 440-440 440 16 605-631 621 420-450 434.14 11 676-676 676 418-418 418
