First feeder cattle sale in three weeks, no recent price comparisons available. 
 Moderate to good demand for this nice summertime offering of yearling steers 
and heifers, along with a few consignments of spring born calves.  The market 
was fairly active after a tough week in the cattle business, due to the extreme 
heat.  Higher futures, during the heart of the sale, helped to give a little 
confidence to cattle feeders.  Many long strings of yearlings, in light to 
heavy flesh, offered in full loads and multiple load lots.
