USDA Worthing, SD Fdr Cattle Wtd Avg 08/03 12:25 AMS_2026 MARS Sioux Falls Regional Cattle Auction - Worthing, SD Sioux Falls Regional Livestock-Worthing,SD Livestock Weighted Average Report for 08/03/2026 - Final Auction This Week Last Reported Last Year ------------------------------------------------------------ Total Receipts: ------------------------------------------------------------ FEEDER CATTLE 2252 2796 2016 First feeder cattle sale in three weeks, no recent price comparisons available. Moderate to good demand for this nice summertime offering of yearling steers and heifers, along with a few consignments of spring born calves. The market was fairly active after a tough week in the cattle business, due to the extreme heat. Higher futures, during the heart of the sale, helped to give a little confidence to cattle feeders. Many long strings of yearlings, in light to heavy flesh, offered in full loads and multiple load lots. --------------------------------------------------------------- FEEDER CATTLE --------------------------------------------------------------- HEIFERS - Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 61 1013-1013 1013 285.5-285.5 285.5 Fleshy 10 1192-1192 1192 267.5-267.5 267.5 Fleshy 6 1243-1243 1243 248-248 248 Fleshy HEIFERS - Large 1-2 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 5 1179-1179 1179 240-240 240 Fleshy HEIFERS - Medium and Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 66 1029-1033 1030 257-268 264.49 Fleshy 4 295-295 295 545-545 545 10 319-330 326 495-545 525.41 27 468-488 476 420-445 438.19 6 511-511 511 420-420 420 Fleshy 14 519-543 524 405-430 424.45 15 590-590 590 390-390 390 9 678-678 678 377-377 377 61 726-729 728 346-349 347.32 13 731-731 731 366-366 366 Thin Fleshed 22 790-790 790 309-309 309 Fleshy 50 840-840 840 321-321 321 387 859-876 865 307.5-320.5 313.43 97 871-879 877 296-309.5 304.41 Fleshy 7 927-927 927 305-305 305 61 975-975 975 285-285 285 Fleshy HEIFERS - Medium and Large 1-2 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 10 598-598 598 372.5-372.5 372.5 STEERS - Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 116 1029-1030 1029 306-310 308.07 62 1048-1048 1048 300.5-300.5 300.5 Fleshy 245 1061-1082 1072 305-309 307.39 62 1076-1076 1076 300.75-300.75 300.75 Fleshy 37 1105-1105 1105 287-287 287 Fleshy 45 1278-1278 1278 259.5-259.5 259.5 Fleshy STEERS - Medium 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 5 689-689 689 325-325 325 STEERS - Medium and Large 1 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 4 324-324 324 570-570 570 5 450-450 450 505-505 505 8 501-501 501 472-472 472 6 536-536 536 435-435 435 Fleshy 8 556-556 556 435-435 435 6 610-610 610 425-425 425 20 668-677 673 385-401 393.05 14 708-708 708 407-407 407 47 767-788 784 367.5-370 369.48 13 839-839 839 352-352 352 108 900-946 931 320-327 324.43 171 952-980 962 323.75-325.5 324.33 STEERS - Medium and Large 1-2 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 10 658-658 658 377-377 377 109 998-998 998 315-315 315 STEERS - Medium and Large 2 (Per Cwt/Actual) Head Wt Range Avg Wt Price Range Avg Price 10 468-468 468 425-425 425 8 746-746 746 325-325 325
