DTN Weekly Average DDG Price Steady
MINNEAPOLIS (DTN) -- The DTN spot price for domestic distillers dried grains (DDG) from 33 locations reporting for the week ended June 18 was unchanged on average versus one week ago at $151 per ton.
DDG prices were mixed for the week, but unchanged on average. DTN's National Average Corn Index is down 4 cents versus one week ago.
Based on the average of prices collected by DTN, the value of DDG relative to corn for the week ended June 18 was 0.975%. The value of DDG relative to soybean meal was 53.00% and the cost per unit of protein for DDG was $5.59 compared to the cost per unit of protein for soybean meal at $6.00.

U.S. Grains Council, in its weekly distillers dried grains with solubles (DDGS) July export market prices report, showed as of June 18, CIF NOLA barge price was up $4 at $217 metric ton (mt); FOB vessel Gulf price was down $1 at $237 mt; rail delivered PNW was down $2 at $247; and rail delivered to California was steady at $239 mt.
The Energy Information Administration reported Wednesday for the week ending June 13, overall ethanol production in the United States averaged 1.109 million bpd, down 11,000 bpd week-on-week and 66,000 bpd, or 6% higher than in the same week last year. Four-week average output at 1.098 million bpd was 49,000 bpd above the same four weeks last year. Midwest ethanol production averaged 1.052 million bpd, down 9,000 bpd week-on-week and 65,000 bpd, or 6.2% higher than in the same week last year. Four-week average output at 1.039 million bpd was 48,000 bpd above the same four weeks last year.
