In this Equipment Roundup, DTN/Progressive Farmer looks at Bobcat's all-new telehandler, ASV Holdings Inc.'s new compact track loader, and Massey Ferguson's new look for its iconic logo and its new "Born to Farm" brand identity to celebrate its 175-year anniversary in 2022.
Bobcat has introduced an all-new TL619 Telehandler. It features a redesigned cab, Tier 4 turbo-charged engine and easy-to-access service points.
The TL619 has a load capacity of 5,500 pounds and a lift height of 19 feet. With an optional, add-on counterweight, operators can extend their telehandler's rated capacity throughout the lift cycle to reduce repetitive tasks.
Five operation modes offer operating versatility:
-- ECO mode allows the operator to maintain hydraulic performance without using the engine's full power -- working with lower rpm, and moderating noise and fuel consumption.
-- Smooth Drive mode is designed for maneuvering across jobsites with mild acceleration and deceleration while carrying loads.
-- Dynamic Drive mode increases responsiveness of the telehandler's acceleration and deceleration for traveling between tasks.
-- Flex Drive mode allows the operator to manage the engine speed independently from travel speed.
-- Advanced Attachment Control mode allows for full auxiliary hydraulic performance.
-- The low-profile boom sits below operator eye level to provide an open view of the surroundings. The redesigned engine basket also sits lower for increased line of sight.
-- The redesigned cab offers high visibility, good ergonomics, a comfortable suspension seat, efficient HVAC system, and an easy-to-read, automotive-style instrumentation panel that Bobcat equipment operators will find familiar across R-Series machines.
-- A single joystick controls travel direction, lift and tilt functions, boom extension, and auxiliary hydraulics.

ASV LAUNCHES TRACK LOADER
ASV Holdings Inc., a manufacturer of all-purpose and all-season compact track loaders and skid steers, has launched a new compact track loader -- the MAX-Series RT-135 Forestry Posi-Track loader.
The RT-135F (forestry) and non-forestry RT-135 featuring a 132 hp Cummins engine and have 10% more horsepower than the previous machine they replace, the ASV RT-120. That engine, combined with a 50-gallon-per-minute (gpm) maximum auxiliary flow and an oversized auxiliary pump capable of 66 gpm, allows the RT-135F to transfer more engine power to the attachment with no sacrifices to machine performance. The extra 16 gpm within the pump means operators can run high-flow attachments such as mulchers at full speed while moving the loader without slowing down the tool, all that producing more productivity.
Fuel capacity has been increased dramatically to 52 gallons versus 30 gallons in the RT-120. The extra fuel means operators have an ability to work all day without refueling.
The RT-135F is outfitted with forestry-rated guarding and safety features and best operates in brush cutting, mulching, land clearing and other high-flow applications. The RT-135 is ideal for high-intensity applications and high-flow attachments in a variety of industries, including dirt work, general construction, landscaping and snow clearing.
